I hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR), in Brazil, and I developed my professional ethos through teamwork, networking, and hands-on experience.
I'm authorized to work for any US employer, and I possess more than five years of experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting and site surveying and know-how in projects involving urban planning. I'm also versed in visual and digital arts. Those experiences have improved and expanded my creative and critical thinking, technical proficiency, attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving.
As a foreign national, I display an ability to learn new methods and adapt to new instructions and procedures. I show eagerness, tending to be receptive to new ideas and I always stay alert to new learning opportunities, making effective use of hands-on learning.
I have a strong interest in helping the community working as a draftsperson with projects involving urban planning, accessible design, arts, public spaces, and/or sustainable projects, so I can help improve people's quality of life, as well as the environment.
Work Experience
I did several internships in different fields: I’ve learned from land and urban survey to work with digital arts, accessible design, and historical heritage knowledge to healthcare design. At this time, I acquired enough proficiency in AutoCAD.
I acquired experience in the governmental field in Brazil as an intern at "Secultfor”, “Piratininga Arquitetos Associados" on the Habitational Plan for Central Area of Fortaleza redevelopment and as a Project Assistant at "Habitafor", a governmental agency in charge of affordable housing development in Fortaleza, Brazil. During my appointment at "NEC" and "Arquitec," I expanded my knowledge in healthcare design and accessible buildings.
As a Project Assistant, I’ve had direct contact with different projects related to Land Regulation, at Habitafor. At that moment I employed my skills in software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) CorelDraw, and Google Earth.
